Assessment

We provide ADHD evaluations for adults, adolescents, and children ages 6 and up. Evaluations for ADHD are often requested by primary care physicians or other professionals to determine the presence of ADHD or differentiate between ADHD and learning disabilities.

ADHD evaluations can take 2-3 sessions to complete. The first 1-2 appointments consist of a clinical interview and structured assessments. Following the completion of the report, a session is scheduled to discuss the findings and any recommendations. You will be provided with a report of these findings.

Insurance coverage for assessments varies by your specific plan. You will need to contact your insurance and inquire about coverage for ADHD evaluations. Ensure when you call that you ask if you will have any out-of-pocket costs, what those out-of-pocket costs go towards (i.e.: deductible, out of pocket max etc.), and if prior authorization is required. If your insurance does not cover evaluations, a payment plan can be set up prior to beginning the process. Any reports will be released once the balance is paid in full.
